The Applied Fluids Research Group directed by Vrishank Raghav is a research laboratory in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University. The research groups mission is focused on employing fluid dynamics and engineering principles to solve challenges across disciplines. Current research spans unsteady separated flows over rotating wings, multi-rotor aeromechanics, biomechanics of avian gust interactions, plume-surface interactions, pulsatile droplet-laden flows, heart valve flows, and respiratory diseases. Our current work is funded by ARO, AFOSR, VLRCOE, DoD, NSF, NIH, NASA, and Industry partners.
