Applied Fluids Research Group

We are very grateful to the National Science Foundation (NSF) for their support of our research project on Three-Dimensional Vorticity Dynamics in Vortex-ring Wavy-wall Interactions. This project will support members of the AFRG to investigate how local variations in the shape of a surface and the timing of incoming vortices work together to influence vortex ring-wall interactions. To kick off the year, the group hit the bowling alley for some team bonding, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. Here’s to another year of hard work, big ideas, and pushing the boundaries of fluids research!
