NSF Grant

May 2026

We are very grateful to the National Science Foundation (NSF) for their support of our research project on Three-Dimensional Vorticity Dynamics in Vortex-ring Wavy-wall Interactions. This project will support members of the AFRG to investigate how local variations in the shape of a surface and the timing of incoming vortices work together to influence vortex ring-wall interactions. More details can be found here - https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/show-award/?AWD_ID=2610846
