Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarship

Nathaniel Reed has been awarded the prestigious Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarship by the American Helicopter Society (AHS). He is currently working on developing a six degree of freedom motion platform to study dynamic ground effects for multirotor configurations. Nate will receive the award at the Annual AHS Forum 74. Michael Wietstruk was awarded the Best Poster Award across the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University's This is Research Student Symposium. He presented his recent work on developing gust generation systems to investigate unsteady aerodynamics. Congratulations Mike! Link
