AFOSR DEPSCoR Grant

We are very grateful to Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) for their support of our research project on Understanding Vortex Turbulent Boundary Layer Interactions to Mitigate Separation Using Textured Surfaces in collaboration with Arizona State University's Dr. Pathikonda. This project will support students to investigate influence of textured surfaces on mitigating flow separation during wing-vortex interactions. More details can be found here - https://aub.ie/afosr

Luqman and Arun join AFRG

Luqman Ahmed and Arun Nair join AFRG as a graduate student and a visiting research scholar, respectively. Luqman will be working on wing-vortex and wing-propeller interactions while Arun will be working on implementing new approaches to our established R3DV technique. Lokesh and Bipin win graduate student awards

Lokesh Silwal was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Student award and Bipin Tiwari (not in the photo here) was awarded the M.S. Thesis Award from the Auburn University Graduate Student Council.
