Shahan Qamar joins the graduate program at Auburn University and he will pursue his Masters degree and his interests are in fluid-structure interaction for rotating wings. He will be working with the novel R3DV system to study rotating wing aerodynamics. Welcome to the group Shahan!

We are very grateful to NSF for their support of our research project on Fluid-Structure Interactions in Pulsatile Flow. This project will support students to investigate fundamental effects of pulsatility on FSI of flexible membranes and its application to design of robust heart valve leaflets. Lokesh wins 3rd place in Poster Competition

Lokesh was awarded the 3rd place for overall College of Engineering category at the 2021 Graduate Engineering Research Showcase for his poster "Returning to the Moon: Using High-Speed Imaging to Facililate Safer Landings."
