DOD Instrumentation Grant

We are very grateful to the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Army Research Office (ARO) for their support of our DOD related research by providing us funds to acquire advanced instrumentation to enable research and education in fluid mechanics. You can read more about it here. Again kudos to the hard work of all the group members and thankful to the support of the college and department.
Outstanding Faculty Award

Vrishank Raghav was awarded the Outstanding Aerospace Engineering Faculty for the 2018-2019 academic year. Selections are based on student votes for the best faculty in the department. Link
Mike wins Undergraduate Poster Award

Michael Wietstruk was awarded the Best Poster Award across the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University's Research Symposium. He presented results from our recent experiments on adaptations of a bird to turbulent environment. This is the 2nd time in a row Mike has won this award. Congratulations Mike! Link
Lokesh wins Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarship

Lokesh Silwal has been awarded the prestigious Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarship by the Vertical Flight Society (VFS). He is currently working on multi-rotor interactional aerodynamics and their performance in ground effect. Lokesh is presenting this work and he will receive the award at the Annual at VFS Forum 75 in May 2019. Congratulations Lokesh!
